Kindred Connection retreats are hosted at Majestic Properties and Rancho Margot, located in El Castillo, Costa Rica. This peaceful village is located in the heart of the Rainforest on Lake Arenal and the Arenal Volcano, and is the home to most of the major attractions that draw visitors to this area!

During some our retreats, you will be staying at The Majestic Properties. We will set you up in your own individual room, with beautiful views overlooking Lake Arenal and the Arenal Volcano. Enjoy cocktails at the on-site bar, Howler's Bar and Grill, or take a dip in the pool while listening to the sounds of tropical birds and the howl of the monkeys. Each of our rooms is equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom. Other amenities include fully equipped kitchens, washer and dryers, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Our hilltop properties at Pie in the Sky also have a private pool, and leave you feeling like you're in the clouds. This place is truly a piece of paradise!
Some of our retreats will offer you an "off the grid" experience at Rancho Margot, a sustainable ranch here in El Castillo! This holistic experience will help you to relax and unwind in nature with hot and cold pools, garden and rainforest trails, meditation areas, twice daily yoga and farm to table meals from the organic farm.

Kayak Lake Arenal, within the comfort of a single or double sit-on Ocean Kayak®. While you paddle, you'll see howler monkeys, over 400 species of birds and explore coves, lagoons and river outlets.
Take a ride with our go-to navigator, Lilander to a beautiful waterfall in the Arenal Rainforest. Lilander's passion for the horses and the land are what make this journey one for the books. Along the way, you'll encounter all types of paths, dirt, mud and gravel, and soak in the stunning views of Costa Rica. After the horses reach their peak, you'll take a 30 minute hike to the waterfall.
